How it is Made
Have you ever looked at something and wondered, “How do the make that?” I have, and I find it is interesting to find out how it is made. My favorite site for that is HowItsMade. I went over to look around this morning and was surprised to find they have puzzles on the web site. You can put together puzzles of scenes from the show. The site is also great about offering ways to learn more science and see how it works in everyday life.
I also had to check out there top tens. I looked at there top ten unsung inventions. Included in the list are paper, eyeglasses, and the battery. We use these every day and probably don’t have any idea who invented them. When these items came out it was sometimes years before there they became as widely used as they are now.
They also have quizs you can take to testyour knowledge on certain subjects. One of these is the One hundred greatest scientific discoveries of all time quiz. I got 7 out of 16, how well did you do?
And now, since this is free friday, some samples for you to enjoy.

How it’s Made came to where I worked 2 years ago to film how ink jet printer cartridges are made. I worked at HP’s printer division at the time and the film crew was just getting ready to suit up to enter the cleanroom lab. It takes about 6-9 months from the time they film to the date it airs on TV.
