Lest you think I have forgotten about that craft with two pointy sticks, I decided I needed to share a blog on knitting.  I do enjoy knitting as while as crocheting, and I think these crafts shouldn’t be at odds with each other though many seem to think they are. They have the ultimate in common, Yarn! Why do many hate one craft and love the other? Why do many spend hours on one craft yet loath the mention of the other? I read one ladies blog that mentioned she only had a crochet hook to pick up stitches she dropped while knitting. She got out the crochet hook only when absolutely necessary.  Many knitters feel the same about crochet. What do I say? I say make afghans not war. Why be busy arguing about the relative merits of each when you can be busy using them? I think a basic understanding of the ‘other craft’ can help you to better understand yarn.
